This latest Trek starts at the confluence of the Missouri and Yellowstone Rivers near Ft. Buford North Dakota and follows the Missouri across Montana to Helena. The trail then follows the L&C overland route over the Mountains to Lolo, then across Idaho to the Clearwater and Snake Rivers. The Snake flows into the Columbia and Mike will follow the Columbia out to the Pacific and Fort Canby to the L&C Interpretive Center where his original inspiration occurred.
